TM1248 – Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR (1997)

The Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR is an iconic supercar produced between 1998 and 2000, originally conceived as a competition car for the FIA GT championship.

Produced in a limited edition, the road version was developed to bring the technology and excellence of racing cars directly to the road. Only 25 examples of the road version were built, making it one of the most exclusive and sought-after Mercedes.

The CLK GTR is powered by a 6.9-liter twin-turbo V12, capable of delivering 604 hp, which allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, with a top speed of over 320 km/h. The carbon fiber monocoque structure, combined with an independent suspension chassis and carbon-ceramic brakes, gives the CLK GTR extraordinary lightness and handling.

Aesthetically, the CLK GTR stands out for its aggressive and aerodynamic design, with sharp lines and prominent air intakes. The interior is luxurious, with high-quality materials such as leather and Alcantara.

The Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR is an extraordinary car that embodies the excellence of the Stuttgart-based company and combines the world of racing with that of road-going supercars.
