TM1250 – Ferrari 500 Super Fast Series 2 (1965)

The Ferrari 500 Superfast Series 2, produced from 1964 to 1966, is the evolved version of the legendary Ferrari 500 Superfast, an iconic car that represented the pinnacle of refinement and performance for the Maranello brand in the 1960s.

The 500 Superfast Series 2 was one of the last Ferraris to feature a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, capable of producing around 400 hp, allowing it to exceed 280 km/h in top speed.

The major innovation of the Series 2 was the introduction of an independent rear suspension, which greatly improved stability and handling, making the car even more agile. Aesthetically, the 500 Superfast Series 2 was characterized by elegant lines and well-balanced proportions, with a two-door body and a sleek, sporty design typical of Ferrari’s styling at the time. The interior was luxurious, featuring high-end materials such as leather and wood.

Only 12 units of the Ferrari 500 Superfast Series 2 were produced, making it an extremely rare and highly sought-after car among collectors. The 500 Superfast remains a symbol of Ferrari’s 1960s era, blending timeless elegance with extraordinary performance.
