TM1246 – McLaren F1 LM (1993-1998)

The McLaren F1 LM (Le Mans) is an extreme version of the legendary McLaren F1, built in 1995 to celebrate the car’s historic victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans that same year. Only 5 units were produced, making it one of the rarest and most sought-after supercars in the world.

Compared to the road-going F1, the LM is even lighter and more powerful. It features the same naturally aspirated 6.1-liter V12 engine developed by BMW, but without the racing restrictions, delivering 680 hp. The weight was reduced to around 1,060 kg by removing non-essential comforts such as air conditioning, audio system, and sound insulation.

Aerodynamically, the LM includes a more aggressive front splitter, a larger roof-mounted intake, and a fixed rear wing derived from the F1 GTR race car. The performance is staggering: 0–100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and a top speed exceeding 360 km/h.

The F1 LM retains the signature three-seat layout with the central driving position and embodies the original F1 philosophy — pushed to the extreme. Today, it stands as an absolute icon in the world of hypercars, symbolizing technical excellence, exclusivity, and a pure racing spirit.
