TM1247 – Lamborghini Miura SV (1966-1973)

The Lamborghini Miura SV (Spinto Veloce) is the final and most refined version of the Miura, one of the most iconic supercars in automotive history. Unveiled in 1971, the Miura SV represents a significant evolution compared to the Miura S, improving stability, performance, and safety.

The 4.0-liter V12 engine, developed by Giampaolo Dallara, was upgraded to 385 hp, allowing the Miura SV to reach a top speed of 280 km/h. The design remains similar to the previous version, but the SV features several modifications, including a new rear suspension that improves handling and a redesigned exhaust system that increases power. The Miura SV also has wider tires, contributing to better traction and stability.

Another key update concerns the interior design, with higher-quality finishes and more attention to comfort, while still maintaining a sporty and minimalist cabin. The Miura SV is one of the most coveted cars by collectors and remains a symbol of technical excellence and Italian design.

Production of the Miura SV ended in 1973, with around 150 units built. Today, the Miura SV is considered one of Lamborghini’s most iconic vehicles and a masterpiece of automotive design from the 1970s.
